Morocco was our first real leap outside Europe, the gateway to the African leg of the trip toward Dakar. Desert, customs procedures you have to figure out on the fly, and a long Atlantic coastline that barely anyone talks about compared to the classic southern route.
Here you’ll find the documents needed to enter with a dog and a cat, our favourite spots along the coast, and everything we learned to eat on the road — from proper couscous to the sweet chebakia of Ramadan.
