Not just another blog: the story of a “wild family”

Why this blog? What could possibly be new to write, say or show in 2022? Can you still listen to that voice inside you telling you to do something so you don’t bury yourself under everyday complaints, and finally change the life that doesn’t feel like it fits you? We want to believe it. We want to try. We started sharing our passion for travel and change 5 years ago, when we thought a distance of 100 km wouldn’t let us build a stable relationship or start a family. We changed our minds, booked that train to Paris, and started giving ourselves a chance.

When and where the dream of living in the world began

After several adventures around the world, we moved in together in Turin, exactly two months before the pandemic broke out. In those days we learned to know each other within four walls, to clash and to clear our minds. Then something else clicked: the urge to listen together to that voice screaming for change.

That’s how the day came when we chose to buy a van. And after that, the day we decided we’d leave our certainties for uncertainties. Or rather, we’d leave the safe nest to live in the world out there. Just the umpteenth crazy dreamers who’ll end up with empty wallets? What’s certain is that we never thought we could change our lives lightly, without weighing our choices. We spent entire days bringing up the topic, weighing the pros and cons. We’re not scared of not using our degrees. Not because we feel like we’ve “made it,” but because we need to broaden our horizons. We’ll study to grow our knowledge, look for new jobs, and take in everything a change like this can bring. And if it comes to it, we’ll go back, change our minds again, without being afraid of feeling like failures.

Change, travels and adventures, the lives of others we’ll meet along the way, and how travelling with a cat on a leash can be an extremely interesting calling card. Nothing too new. But all very, very personal. We hope to catch a bit of your attention and give you even just a small part of the emotions we love living firsthand.
