We’re Sara and Paolo, born in 1990 under the sign of Pisces, stubborn dreamers. We met talking about the countries we wanted to visit, and we haven’t stopped travelling together since. We’ve covered kilometers on foot, by bike, car, train and plane, until in May 2022 we decided that a van could be the ideal home to help us collect emotions rather than souvenirs and postcards around the world.
So we set off together with Olimpia, a 10-year-old Rottweiler who has always been our favourite travel companion, and Sakè, a 3-year-old European cat rescued almost by chance (or by luck) one Saturday afternoon. Ever since, we’ve lived aboard 9 square meters in a perfect balance so we don’t step on each other’s feet and paws.
So far we’ve visited 15 countries across Europe and Africa, and every border we cross means one more chance to learn something: a language, a culture, a recipe, a sound.
We love stopping to chat with anyone: locals, fellow foreigners, and fellow Italians alike.
Every day we look for new work and creative stimuli, which is why we decided to open this blog and a YouTube channel , so we can share our experience and everything we discover along the way.
Where are we headed next? We’ve changed a lot since we set off. If we once needed to know where we’d wake up the next day, today we leave much more room for improvisation. The world out here sometimes offers roads it would be a shame not to take.
